What the troupe represent

It's been three years since we started the Athenarts Performing Troupe and I asked the students what the troupe represented for them and these were some of the responses:

1. Enjoyment
2. Fun
3. Happy and sweet moments
4. Bonding
5. Learning expereicne for me to enhance my aesthetic skills while making new friends.
6. Family
7. Helping Others
8. Hard work
9. Singing
10. A place where I get to let loose myself and be who I am as everyone here shares the same interest as me.
11. Magical.

Something In the Wind

Last night, I performed at Ngee Ann City with a friend Jit Min. The event was the launch of the Singapore Paraolympics. I had a good time listening to the songs that were presented at the event. Below is a video of the song which we performed called Something In the Wind. It was a song which I have written about 10 years ago. The story is about a girl who is feeling very lonely and sad because her friends have left her and she has no one to turn to, except something in the wind.

I'm attaching the lyrics for the song as requested by some members of the audience.
